FHI HEAT, Inc. teamed up with MIZANI Haircare to sponsor Celebrity Hairstylist Ursula Stephen's clients include Rihanna (iconic right now in terms of hair) , and Michelle Williams "Fabulous Night In New York City" birthday party on Nov. 11, 2008. The celebratory event drew over 250 VIP guests, press & beauty industry tastemakers, and took place at the L'Oreal Professional Product Institute in Manhattan's hip SoHo district.
"FHI Heat is thrilled to support one of the most dynamic hairstylists who help craft the hottest new looks for Music artists like Rihanna and Michelle Williams, and we are honored that Ursula can create her fashion-forward looks with FHI Heat tools," states Phillip Wilson, Global Creative Director for FHI Heat, a manufacturer of professional hair tools.
Guests to this party received special gift bags that included: FHI Heat's Technique 1-Inch pink styling iron (recently one of my GIVEAWAYS) , along with other goodies..

When shopping for party dresses, we always want to find that one little number that makes us stand apart from the pack. I am one for loud colors, textures and prints ! Its not something I suggest to make a signature look ( but if that's what you want to do, then that's okay as well) - but why not buy a dress in a fun print for a party??? Whether its animal prints ( I am a huge fan of the cheetah print - but definitely not in a overkill manner like some reality t.v. stars from a certain "state" have displayed to the public) - cheetah, zebra, giraffe, the list can go on, stripes - channel the whole "nautical , jean paul gaultier, Parisian chic" vibe, polka dots - are soooo fun, or any other print you can imagine.Whatever you choose will make a statement wherever you go , but please keep in mind that if the dress is in a bold print - the hair, make-up and accessories should compliment the dress. I would suggest solid color shoes and handbag - wouldn't want to end up looking like fashion overkill. With that said, for your next party , go with prints!!!
