Its officially the weekend! When we all like to take on our "weekend" ALTER EGO ( parites, brunch, relaxing, walking your dog, anything that is less work and more play) . Speaking of Alter Ego's I am in awe of all 20 shades of the Alter Ego Lipstick which I previously been tweeting / Instagraming about. I thought it would be fun to put together a photo collection of the best shades for us Dark Skinned Girls as displayed on no other but the super fabulous MakeupShayla who is by far one of the best makeup artists on Instagram / Youtube . If you have not tried out the LORAC Alter Ego lipsticks ($16), you NEED to get to it , and if you're not following Shayla , you don't know what you're missing. She is a great beauty reference for me because we are around the same skin tone so I know when a color looks great on her, without a doubt I can confidently try that very same color. It can be a bit tricky when you have a deeper tone finding products/ brands that will make you look as fabulous as you want to be. She makes you want to have a "BEAT FACE" every day , and she gives very precise professional techniques on her tutorial videos ( something that I appreciate). She is definitely an inspiration to me , and I definitely am inspired to wear each of these shades below and bring out my very own Alter Ego this weekend , all summer and even into the fall and winter!!
