Valentines Day Date Night Beauty Blueprint with Tarte Cosmetics !!!

• Eyes - Nothing says Sexy more than a perfectly lined eye. Whether you want to do a thin cat-eye or a bold line (sans le wing) , I suggest use a clay liner.  Both liners above stay put - no smudging or moving -  I can attest - Amazonian Clay Waterproof liner is my GO-TO black! I love the two sided brush that it comes with , and its by far the blackest black when it comes to liners.  Call of the Wild Amazonian Clay liner leaves a matte finish -  for some of you who may want to go to that look as well. You can not forget lashes --- a lady MUST never do a beauty look without mascara ( or leave her house either) , and the Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara really gives you the appearance of falsies. 
• Cheeks - The slightest hint of color on the cheeks is all one needs. I usually like to pile on powder blushes along with highlighter/bronzers  at times just to look forward to the dewy look I would obtain after a few hours.  The Airblush Maracuja blush gives you that same effect with its lightweight cream blush formula.  
• Lips - I listed something for everyone ..  A matte color ,  A natural flush of tint, and a highly pigmented lipstick.  Matte : LipSurgence Matte Lip Tint - I personally LOVE the LipSurgence series , and I love the fact that it is available in a Matte. For Valentines Day, nothing is more romantic than a deep matte lip like "hope" or "envy". Natural : LipSurgence Skintuitive Lip Tint - Maybe you just want a flush of color, and this would be your best bet because it is catered to your liking. This particular tint responds to your skins natural pH and energy, giving you a personalized tint that is like your own "couture tint". .  My favorite of the three - Highly Pigmented Lipstick : definitely for the "bolder" girls, who really want to MAKE a statement.  Glamazon Pure Performance 12-hour Lipstick really DOES stay on.  I have "foxy", "fierce" , "wild" and "whimsy" -  which are shades of reds and pinks.  Perfect choices for V-Day. I am dark skinned, and whimsy looks very nice on me - not like that "strange bright lip against dark skin" look at all. "Wild" is a BEAUTIFUL deep red that STAYS PUT after one application -  I've had it on for hours , and never needed to run to re-apply until later on in the evening.  This works perfect for your Valentines Day .  You'll know that your color will last through the night..  Check out the other colors as well which are equally beautiful.

Matthew Robbins' Inspired Weddings: Designing Your Big Day with Favorite Objects and Family Treasures Amazon ($23.10) Maybe you have a friend and or family member that's recently engaged .. or they're single , this book speaks to all "relationship statuses" as it gives you great ideas for all types of party hosting.  Your single gal pals can use this to draw inspiration for their next brunch or dinner party while your recently "put a ring on it" counterparts can use this book for fun ideas for the big day!! I actually LOVE all types of hosting/entertaining coffee table books myself . 
3. BEVERLY HILLS BUNNY by NCLA ($16) I LOVVVVVEEEEE Pink ! It is my absolute Favorite color , and Hot pink speaks to me in volumes .. There is just something FUN about a hot pink nail. HOLLYWOOD AND VINE STARLET by NCLA ($16) Black with Silver glitter pair up to create a very sexy dark nail.  Perfect for the girl who loves a little glitz and glamour in her beauty routine.  I am the type to wear a color like this one for V-Day .. so unconventional but that's what I like about it!  After looking at this shade on the model on the website ( pictured, above - I am DETERMINED to wear this shade on my nails for V-Day .. No matter what plans I have or don't have ....I want to look like a Starlet!) 
9. RUSH HOUR by NCLA ($16) A classic Fire Engine Red !!!!  Like lips, there is something about RED NAILS ...  A must for yourself and your girls!!! Men are visual creatures , and the slight hint of color (on your lips and nails)  always works!!! Please refer to the photo above , and you can see how enticing this shade is on the nails! 
10. Aveda Groom Set For Men ($38) Most of our guys have the slightest clue in what products to use.  That's where we come in. This is perfect for your guy and the fact that it's travel size gives him the chance to try it out and if hes sold ( he WILL be) ...Then we invest in full size replacements for our fav guy.  Single? Why not gift your brother or favorite male friend .. They need our assistance too! 
11. POOLSIDE PARTY ALL EYES ON ME ($16) A pretty peachy nude creme shade.  Nude can be JUST as alluring as a red nail.  This is great for the girls who are a bit more classic with their nail choices.

Hairdo by HairUWear Clip-In Bangs Ulta.com ($29)!!!!  Ever since Beyonce debuted her new bangs at the Brooklyn Nets Game , then the showstopping new bangs on our First Lady Michelle Obama at the Inauguration .. Seems like everywhere we turn bangs have been the trend. I just love the blunt bangs in my beauty inspiration photo above, so that is why I wanted to include this. Now with the help of clip-in bangs , we no longer have to be slaves to cutting our own hair. Just a quick snap and their in or out.

Here are some tips to re-create Beyoncé’s look from famed celebrity makeup artist Mally Roncal, who worked with her for this special day. Mally shares her tips and tricks on how to steal this look ( which was one of the hot-topics of the day besides the Fabulous First Lady herself) :

·         To first set the skin, apply my Perfect Prep Poreless Primer all over the face and my Cancellation Concealer directly underneath the eyes.

·         To achieve natural-looking coverage, first, apply my Ultimate Performance Liquid Foundation. Next, add a sweep of my NEW Diamond Unpowder that will illuminate the skin followed by brushing on my Effortless Airbrush Highlighter and Blush Duo to the cheeks in order to provide a soft, radiant glow to the skin.

Pretty Pink Lips: A pink pout looks good on every skin tone and every age. Beyonce Debuts Basquiat MINX !!!

Beyoncé delighted her fans earlier this week by posting a photo of her favorite new Minx nail fashion on Instagram, showing the colorful Minx nail coatings that the singer wore for her New Year’s performance in Las Vegas earlier this month.

Celebrity nail stylist Lisa Logan, the magic behind Bee’s nails, tells us the singer was wearing a custom Minx design inspired by the artwork of Jean-Michel Basquiat.  The late American artist is a favorite of both Beyoncé and Jay-Z.

While that specific design is one–of-a-kind, Lisa says fans can purchase their own DIY Minx nails by logging on to thewww.MinxTastingRoom.com, or can have a set professionally applied at a Minx-certified salon found through thewww.MinxNails.com salon finder. 

The solid nail coating can be worn on either natural nails or tips and is a favorite of celebrities including Beyoncé, Katy Perry and Rihanna.
