ALBERTA FERRETTI

Inspired by a rock and roll vibe – very Bohemian with matte, natural textured , which complimented the "hippie" feeling of the collection.

BOTTEGA VENETA

Featured a wet natural texture , inspired by the women on their way to work, whose hair is still wet from the shower.

Guido's comments on this look:
“This line for Bottega Veneta is a very modern workwear inspired collection and the designer wanted very natural American woman beauty to complement. This look represents a woman on the go, rushing out of her apartment on the way to work and letting her hair dry naturally."

Create the Look

Tools needed: water spray bottle, aerate 08 bodifying cream mousse

- Create a messy center part

- Damp entire head with a water spray bottle . Scrunch in aerate 08 bodifying cream mousse in sections, scrunching the toward head with small handfuls of hair at a time

ROBERTO CAVALLI

Featured super-straight , super-sleek , long hair inspired by a 1970's hippie-girl who surrounded herself by Rockstars.

Guido's comments on this look:
"This is Roberto Cavalli's 40th anniversary in the business, so it’s a big show for him and likewise, for the hair. The Collection has a 1970s feel to reference Cavalli's start in Fashion in 1970, so we came up with a retro style for the hair to complement the sexy, head turning designs and innovative hemlines and fringe, but still making her look modern and cool."

Create the Look

Tools needed : Flat iron , Blow dryer, align 12 protective straightening balm , vinyl glam 02 mega shine spray

- Create a messy center part, wet hair and apply align 12. Blow dry for stick straight strands that have added protection from heat and damage.

- Run through hair with flat iron

- Section off crown section of hair

- To cut down on volume, scalp braid hair horizontally from the occipital bone down to the nape – add a layer of extensions that skin the lower back to create length, securing them in where the scalp braids began (if hair is already long, extensions wouldn't be needed)

- Flat iron all hair together to the very ends

- Finish with vinyl glam 02 for separation and shine.

VERSACE

Featured ultra shiny, lacquered hair which was slicked back into a low bun covered by PVC for a patent leather feel.

Guido's comments on this look:
"Donatella and I discussed this look quite a bit; as typically she loves big, voluminous sexy hair for her show. Through this departure from that, we wanted to show that hair kept close to the head that draws attention to the face can be just as high glamour as big hair. This is a look anyone can wear, as long as she has the confidence to allow her face the extra exposure exposed. Also, not using so much product could also tone down the look a bit too for everyday. And the accessories, like the pieces of PVC plastic, can add a bit of fun into such a glamorous, high fashion shape."

Create the Look

Tools needed: piece of PVC plastic, hardwear 16 super strong gel , and glass 01 smoothing serum

- Apply Redken hardwear 16 super strong gel in sections thoroughly through entire head of hair all the way to just past the nape of the neck, using a comb to create a smooth texture with no part.

- Smooth hair all the way back on the top and sides and pull together in a low ponytail secured at the nape of the neck.

- Coil hair around itself into a knot and pin into place.

- Take a piece of PVC plastic (or any type of square shaped material you'd like to use) and secure around the bun with an elastic, allowing the ends of the square piece to essentially "stick out."

- Finish entire look with slicking on heavy amounts of glass 01 smoothing serum for that glassy, patent leather texture.
