A Bag For Every Occassion

Summer is around the corner, and what better time than now for Tamara Handbags to unveil they're Summer 2008 Collection of handbags. I chose to discuss my TOP 5 favorites from the entire collection .

1. Maura Tote from the Black and White Scroll Collection

This bag is so Sophisticated and Chic to me, I can totally see it as being the perfect work bag to the brunch with the girls bag as well.

2. Anya Tote from the Pink Paisley Collection

This is like so girly, just like me. I love pink ( ask anyone I know) , and I just love the paisley print. Its paisley done tastefully. I can totally see myself wearing this bag on a Friday to work - when I leave early to go meet my gals at the beach!!!

3. Caroline Tote from the Brown / Turquoise Collection

I love this.. I can totally buy this to my friend who's a mom-to-be . I think it would be chic as a baby bag, (although that's not the bag's intention). I totally love it for myself as well, I can never have enough totes - they carry everything!!

4. Corrie Clutch from the Black/White Collection

Clutches are my favorite styles of bags. They pack in a lot of style and character in such a compact size.. I can not tell you how many clutches reside in my closet. This clutch is tres cute , I would totally pair it with a bright color ( definitely not RED , because that's too too obvious) . Being that it is Black/White , you could pair it with a suit for a formal business luncheon.

5. Rachel Satchel from the Brown/ Turquoise Collection

I just love the Brown/ Turquoise contrast, I see this pretty little satchel as my out on a Saturday afternoon bag or even as the perfect pairing to my cute beach dresses from J.Crew .

Natural Beauty

Ok, So I might not eat totally organic, or am not a strict vegetarian either.. But I do love to support all natural / organic or GREEN promoting products whenever I can. My current favorites are the Italian Badger Kabuki Brush by Morphe Makeup Brushes , and the Pure Soul Mascara in Onyx by Afterglow cosmetics . First up is the Italian Badger Kabuki Brush from Morphe Makeup Brushes (pictured above/$9). This cute little brush is like brush nirvana. It is extremely soft, and it gives you a flawless finish. The Morphe Kabuki brushes are more than affordable ( ranging from $5 - $9 dollars) , and the added bonus is that they're cruelty- free. I just love using it to apply my bronzing powder, its just amazing. Next on my list is Pure Soul Mascara in Onyx by Afterglow cosmetics ( pictured, above/$21). This mascara is 100% Organic along with Cruelty Free (certified by Leaping Bunny and PETA) , and its free of all the synthetics, preservatives, bismuth oxychloride, petro-chemical, dyes and fillers found in traditional cosmetics. Bon Apetit becomes Tres Chic !

Recently, I was lucky enough to dine at the fabulous Bruno Jamais Restaurant Club and it was a great dining experience. Usually some places are pretty to look at, and the food is lacking and vice versa - but at Bruno Jamais , your eyes and your stomach will be equally satisfied.

This is the perfect spot for a girls night out ( preferably thurs -sat after 11pm ) to a romantic diner with your beau. The possibilities are endless in regards to reasons to pay a visit.

The service was superb, and the food presentation is like little works of art you almost don't want to destroy.. But you're obliged to from the succulent aromas from the great flavors used in the Contemporary French entrees. I highly recommend the Rissoto of the Day , as one of your choices for the night. You will thank me later.

Do not be surprised if you meet Monsieur Bruno himself, as he is a very warm and welcoming owner.

I just loved walking through the beautiful wine cellar entrance ( pictured, above center ) one of the two wine cellars that the Bruno Jamais Restaurant Club has - where theres bottles that go for $ 10,000 . It was the great preview to what was to come ( in regards to the decor) .

Pictured below, are some shots of the main dining area that is more than appealing to the eye. The restaurant was designed by Tony Chi and won the award for best interior design by Hospitality design magazine. Another cool fact, is that the beautiful pOp art paintings are actually for sale (great food and art ! what else can you ask for? ) !

Celebrities have an adoration for this great secret hidden in the Upper East side as well from President Bill Clinton, Robin Givens, Chaka Khan, Billy Baldwin, Sarah Ferguson, Chazz Palminteri, Fat Joe, Kim Cattrall, Sex and the City’s Chris Noth and many others.

I am already looking forward to my next visit - which is VERY soon!

Get Hot !!!!

Who says that we have to wait for Summer to make things in our beauty regimen HOTTT?
